Scope of services

Bookkeeping, accounting, tax, and advisory services are provided only under a signed engagement letter that defines the deliverables, timing, responsibilities, and fees. Nothing on this website creates a client relationship, and no work begins before an engagement letter is executed.

Client responsibilities

• Providing complete and accurate records, statements, and supporting documentation.
• Responding to information requests in time to meet filing and closing deadlines.
• Reviewing and approving deliverables before they are filed or distributed.
• Maintaining ownership of business decisions and final positions taken on filings.

Fees and payment

Fees, billing frequency, and payment terms are set in the engagement letter. Invoices unpaid beyond the agreed period may result in suspended work until the balance is settled.

Intellectual property

Site content, layout, graphics, and templates are owned by Meridian Advisory and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. Work products prepared for a client remain available to that client as described in the engagement letter.

Limitation of liability

The website is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meridian Advisory is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Liability under an engagement is governed by that engagement letter.

Termination and governing law

Either party may end an engagement in writing as described in the engagement letter, with fees due for work completed. These terms are governed by the laws of the state named in the engagement letter, without regard to conflict of law rules.
